I encountered a chance meeting with a very urbane gentleman named Hany Bekhit. At the time I was not interested in finding a realtor to sell my home. We started to speak to Hany years before we actually bought because what we wanted in the area we wanted it was hard to find. Hany never forgot us and always sent us homes that matched our search parameters. When we finally found the house we wanted, Hany helped us purchase it for significantly below the listing. It needed a lot of work and Hany directed us to the right contractor and redesigned the space himself, helping us turn what had been a massive master suite into a separate apartment for my mother-in-law. It's a lovely comfortable space. He has since helped again, designing our out door deck room and working with our contractor to get it perfect. We would never work with anyone besides Hany. Beyond his skill in real estate and design, he is patient and kind. A home purchase is such a difficult and stressful time and he always handled everything with grace and care. I never doubted for a minute that he was looking out for our best interests.

My wife and I were first-time buyers looking for a house in the South Bay, an area very unfamiliar to us. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for and showed us houses all over the South Bay, often at odd hours to accommodate our schedule. He always provided valuable, objective input on pricing, neighborhood vibes, potential problems, etc. Once we found a house we liked, he patiently guided us through multiple rounds of negotiations and made the escrow process run very smoothly. He also helped us plan some key updates to the house and even connected us to a great contractor that made it all happen.
